About Evans

Born in the San Francisco Bay Area, I attended the Hotchkiss School in Lakeville CT and then the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, graduating in 1976.

After school, the corporate world and I battled each other for eight years before I said to heck with it and entered the restaurant industry. For almost 20 years, I worked in restaurants and hotels in the San Francisco Bay Area, serving variously as waiter, banquet captain, and even making the mistake of managing a couple of dining rooms before the babysitting wore me down. I was a 4-time President Award Winner for customer service during my 5-year stay at a major hotel chain.

My wife and I moved from California to Las Vegas in 2000, and we have never looked back. We love it here, but, when we purchased our first Las Vegas home, we were both disappointed in the level of service and communication we received. I thought I could do much better!

I became a licensed REALTOR® in 2004 and have devoted myself to my clients with enthusiasm and passion. In 2015, we started Summit Properties with the goal of offering devoted personal attention to each client.

Back in the 2008-2012 timeframe, it was important to guide clients through the short sale and foreclosure processes, so I became a certified Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource.

Lately, I have focused on risk reduction education to ensure I most effectively protect my clients’ interests. And I have assembled a wonderful team of industry experts, including mortgage professionals, 1031 Exchange services, escrow and title company representatives, flooring companies, house painters and home inspectors.
